Trust is an essential part of a relationship. Lack of trust eats away into a relationship, bringing lot of hurt pain and denial.
Very often ,many a marriages are broken away due to lack of trust amongst the partners.It becomes very hard to trust your better half, when you feel that your partner is being dishonest, is hiding things, is paying less attention to you and is showing more attention to someone else, or worse when you see signs of infidelty in your partner.
Facing situations of this kind can lead to lot of stress and trauma to one or both the partners. There is uncertainity, bitterness, resentment, and rude behaviour towards near and dear ones.
How can One Deal With This Problem
Instead of swallowing the anger, the doubts, the pain it is better you confront your partner and gently sort things out. If things turn out to be bad, don’t loose your cool, just calmly listen to your partner’s view point and talk to him/her when you are in a relaxed frame of mind.
If things are not so bad and it is your doubts you feel that has caused the damage to your relationship. Strive to make things better.
Begin by winning the trust of your partner. Many a times lack of trust creeps in a relationship when one of the partner gets too busy, and is caught up with work. He/she tends to be so occupied that they fail to notice the other persons needs.
Not informing your spouse about your whereabouts, being self occupied, non communicative , covering things up by lying, avoiding doing house hold chores, fault finding, over reacting are minute things that end up creating a big hole and gap in your relationship.
