Money Does Matter In Marriage

Posted on August 27, 2008 in Marriage Advice, Marriage Problems

In a marital relationship, money does matter. Individual differences in saving and spending pattern may cause conflicts to arise.

It is important that such issues be always discussed. Usually the one who earns the most tends to dominate the other over their spending pattern.

Division of responsibilities further strains the responsibilities. Fights occur over who is spending more for the house.

In such situations, it is important that both husband and wife make a plan about their budget, their savings, investments, goals, and expectations from each other.

Respect each other’s views, be gentle while confronting and work it out together. No one else can be a better team than you both.
