Sometimes spouses don’t talk with each other, after a fight or when angry with the other. Well, this is something very viable and is more prominent among the men rather than the women.
Silence at times is golden, when angry one swells up with emotions. Rational thinking is blocked and one tends to talk meaningless and hurtful things, which later may make them very regretful.
It is best that at these times one is silent and after a period of time when both of you can portray a pleasant manner, the reason for the fight should be discussed.
However make sure that you do not use this “Silent Treatment” to get back at each other. Silence for a long period of time can harm a marriage greatly. Silence should always be brief.
