Do you notice your wife being depressed and anxious all the time? Do you notice her craving and demanding for your attention all the time with bursts of impulsivity and anger?
Has her behavior been very surprising and disturbing recently? Well, there are chances of her suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder.
A very common disorder amongst women this is something that should be dealt with utmost care and patience. A husband should try and understand that his wife is not abnormal, but is facing some problem internally and that is why is manifesting such negative behavior.
Here are some symptoms that will help specify if your wife is a victim to this personality disorder.
1) Extreme fear on losing out the confidence of near and dear ones.
2) Bursts of impulsivity i.e. with regards to sex, spending or driving.
3) Extremely dependent on the husband or other family members and wants their attention all the time.
4) Tries to seek attention by threatening to commit suicide or self mutilating acts.
5) Tries to manipulate behavior.
6) Feels very lonely and breaks into depression even when left alone for some time.
7) Is so scared of being alone that tries to be compulsively social, and this behavior instead is found to be very repelling.
8) Tries every possible way and manner of keeping the husband/significant person close to her, either by crying or complaining of physical sickness or emotionally black mailing the person etc.
9) Tries to harm herself when not given the attention.
If these symptoms are very frequently noticed then the person has to be given psychological treatment. Neglecting such behavior can be harmful both for your wife as well as your family.
