Understanding Your Husband Better

Women at the beginning of a relationship tend to view their partners as themselves. This happens because the guy is so eager to please his lady that he does whatever she asks him to do. He dresses the way she wants, likes and reads the same things, enjoys shopping with her and has so many other things in common. But after some years in marriage, the woman begins to notice her husband being very different from the one she got married to.

Then their dawns an understanding, that her husband as a being is a very different person all together because he is biologically created to respond in a particular manner.

Here are some facts about men that will help you understand and react to your husband in a positive manner.

1)    Men tend to get aggressive and angry faster than women: This is because their hypothalamus is larger than that of women. As a result of which when provoked, the hypothalamus heightens rage, hunger desire and thirst.

2)    Men are for more upset than their woman counterparts, if their wives have betrayed them. Just the thought of their wives sleeping with someone else can drive them mad and make them very violent.

3)    Men feel worth living when they have something to drive them, to challenge them. They see themselves more as independent achievers.

4)    Men’s most five basic requirements from a marriage are- Sexual fulfillment, Companionship, Attractive Spouse, Admiration and Domestic Support.

5)    Men feel incompetent when women offer them help. They like receiving help, only when they ask for it.

6)    Men are problem solvers, that’s the reason why they try to solve everything a woman is speaking out, when the woman on the other hand only want them to listen quietly without offering any solutions.

7)    Men generally handle arguments by getting violent or on one extreme by becoming silent.

8)    Men think that by gifting a woman they have accomplished a big thing. That is why they gift a woman to make up for something negative they have done, thinking that by gifting them gifts, they can undo their behavior.

These are some points that will help us understand men better and help us be more patient.
