Marriage is a beautiful bond that can bind a man and a woman together. However, like all relationships, marriage also has its ups and downs. And to deal with the situations that are not so very romantic and nice, one needs to have humility and a compromising attitude.

The man/woman that you loved may not be the same person in the course of married life. There may be times when one may wonder as to why they married the person. But at the same time, all the hurts received don’t matter at all when you are with your loved one. Love can be difficult at times and it makes life very different. You cannot live with the person and at the same time cannot live without the person.

A compromising outlook can help one be very patient with their spouse’s flaws. Scrutinizing every fault can overwhelm a person and cause one to be angry and miserable all the time. This anger and misery will lead to more of discontentment.

Instead when one is angry with their spouse, they should wait for some time to pass. When very angry one shouldn’t do or say things that they will regret later, the best solution is to avoid talking to each other till the anger is in check. This is the best way to deal with negative feelings.

Many advise this technique, and it has become a common statement. But there is lot of depth to this statement, keeping quiet when angry is the most beneficial compromise, which has the greatest fruits.

Try for yourself and see how fruitful it is. It may be difficult initially but later on as you practice it; it becomes a habit and saves you many a trouble. It saves you from regretting later and keeps you in charge of your feelings.
