I just broke up with my Chinese girlfriend, after a 5 years relationship. I live in France, she lived in China, she wanted to come to live with me, and, most important, get married, build a family, but I was not comfortable with the idea of marrying her. I felt that, even after 5 years, I did not know her that much, because I had seen her 4 times a year only. To me, marriage is something important, you cannot commit unless you feel comfortable with the person. I felt attracted. But not comfortable. Especially because she had been pushing pushing and pushing me, since the very beginning, to marry her.
